BioFrank Poncherello (full name: Francis Llewelyn Poncherello), or "Ponch" like most people call him, is a motorcycle officer with the California Highway Patrol, LA Central Division. |
Background --- Coming from a very poor family Ponch grew up in the 'worst part of town', where cops used to be the 'enemy'. He was harrassed on several occasions which taught him to always keep his head high. This pride makes him appear very self-assured but often over-confident and braggy. His family moved to Chicago at some point and his father's business boomed ever since they did. While his two brothers started working for his dad, Ponch stayed in L.A., knowing that working for his the company wasn't for him. Still, he's very attached to his family. Before he joined the CHP Ponch worked in a garage as a mechanic, hanging around with dubious company and getting into trouble with cops for minor felonies such as dirtbiking and speeding. |
Personality --- Ponch has a very bright outlook on life. He is energetic and most of the time you will find him in a good mood, grinning a very broad, happy grin. He is open-hearted and willing to help in every situaion, especially when it's part of his duty. He wouldn't allow injustice when he's around, ever. Not shy about asking someone out Ponch loves to make new friends and enjoys dating very much. He's a big flirt and tends to fall in love (or rather be blown away by a beautiful woman) easily. But even if persistant at times his flirting always stays at a very respectful level. He would never treat a woman badly or make rude or suggestive commets around her. Labled a "hothead" he often loses his temper. Even though he usually acts with the best of intentions he doesn't know when to back off which often gets him into trouble. He's also an unlucky fellow, with an accident rate that seems almost jinxed. |
